2012 Easter Egg Hunts in Central Indiana

One of the many Easter traditions I love to take part in with my daughter is Easter egg hunts. I have found several egg hunts in Central Indiana that you can take part in as well. Here is the list for 2012.

Indianapolis

The Indianapolis Propylaeum (1410 N. Delaware) is hosting a free Easter egg hunt on April 7 at 11am. The hunt is for infants to age 12. The Easter Bunny will be present for photos.

Greenwood

On Saturday, March 31, Friendship Church is hosting a free egg hunt at Craig Park (10 East Smith Valley Raod). The hunt for ages 2-10 will start at 10am at the Main Shelter. In addition to collecting eggs, kids can meet the Easter Bunny. The rain date is April 7.

Franklin

The city of Franklin will host an Easter egg hunt on April 7 at 10am in Province Park by the Sunset Shelter. This free egg hunt is for ages 2-10. Kids will have the opportunity to meet Strawberry the Bunny. In the case of rain, the hunt will be inside the Cultural Arts and Recreation Center (396 Branigin Blvd.).

Anderson

The Mount Moriah Lodge (3921 Nichol Ave) will host an egg hunt on Saturday, March 31 from 1-3pm. The hunt is free and open to the public.

Noblesville

The Noblesville Park Department will host a free Easter egg hunt on March 31st. The hunt will be at Forest Park Shelters 3 and 5 (701 Cicero Rd.). Activities start at 10am with the hunt line-up at 10:50am.

Zionsville

In Zionsville, the EGGnormous Easter Egg Hunt is Saturday, April 7 at Lions Club Park. Breakfast is at 9am, the Easter Bunny arrives at 9:30am, the egg hunt starts at 10am and the Rubber Duckie Scavenger Hunt is at 10:30am.

Carmel

Clay Terrace is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on April 7 at 10am. There will be eggs for little ones and adults will have a chance to search for golden eggs for prizes. The hunt will located in the grassy knoll next to the children’s play area. Clay Terrace is located at 14390 Clay Terrace Blvd.

Beech Grove

The Beech Grove Parks Department is hosting an egg hunt on March 31 at 1pm. The hunt will be at the Sarah T. Bolton Park by the ball diamond. The rain date is April 7.http://www.beechgrove.com/

Danville

The Danville Kiwanis Club and the Danville Parks and Recreation host an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 7 at Ellis Park. The hunt begins at 1:30pm.

New Palestine

New Palestine United Methodist Church is hosting a community Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 7 at 2pm. The church is located at 3565 South 500 West.
