Even as cupid never left any rules for celebrating Valentine’s Day, a bevy of happenings in Chicago make for a rare to completely unforgettable February 14.

Caroling + Classic Film
For those couples, who live for caroling, sing-alongs or just crooning love songs, head over to the Music Box Theatre on Valentine’s Day. An organ accompaniment and projected lyrics, followed by the Humphrey Bogart classic, ‘Casablanca” are the feature attractions of this Chicago event ($11). Dine at Hugh Hefner’s mansion.
Foodies need not be in a coupling to attend the feast of “Aphrodisia!” The mid-1800’s mansion, formerly owned by Mr. Hefner, will be hosting a Valentine’s Day a four course dinner by Chef Markus Ford. ($75)

Take love to new heights.
What’s the power couple with little time on their hands to do on Valentine’s Day? Or perhaps, it’s a new partnership, ready to transition the relationship to the next level. In either case, breakfast on the 99th floor of Chicago’s Willis Tower symbolizes such a Valentine’s Day affair (as long as no one suffers from vertigo). Join the Anti-Valentine’s Day movement.
