Women who are suffering from a low libido can get great results if they’ll get rid of their everyday anxieties and stress. A woman can burn out just like any normal person who keeps burning the candle at both ends on a constant basis. There’s “no” way a women can find the least bit of sexual satisfaction when they’re going in a full force mode on a daily basis.
You might ask me how I know this, it’s because I’ve suffered these bouts of burn-out various times in my life. This happened because I pushed myself to the limit and when I finally got a chance to rest, I fell in bed at night not wanting to be touched and all I wanted to do was to rest my mind and my body.
Yes, I felt a terrible compassion for my husband but time constraints; getting two children ready for sitters or school and then delivering them to their appropriate destinations; fighting massive traffic jams that could last up to an hour and a half morning and night; taking them to sports events; cleaning and washing clothes after work; preparing a hot meal for the family; and taking care of business matters took its toll on me. I felt washed up and full of resentments.
All of this activity is a reason for any woman to lose interest in sex. When a woman takes oral estrogens too, it can raise the level of chemicals in their body and destroy their desire to have sex too because it causes a drop in their testosterone level. Stress can also be a definite factor, it causes an increase in the amount of cortisol hormone a person’s body produces and this can lower the production of testosterone too.
Ladies if you’re under stress and you’ve lost your desire to have sex take a break after work and instead of working and rushing around constantly ask your husband to take over for a few days for you to get a change of scenery and to take a break from your fast paced life. Let them know you’re under a tremendous amount of stress and you need to have a break.
You need to “make” spare time for yourself by taking a night out to get a new hair style or to get a pedicure and a manicure or ask a friend out to see a movie with you. It’ll amaze you how much differently you’ll feel in a week’s time. Most husbands are supportive and will be glad to give their wives a break because they know to that all work and no play will ruins their sexual desire too.
Make sure you eat good nutritious meals and start an exercise program and in no time you’ll find your sexual drive has increased too. You may ask, “When do I have time for exercise,” take the time to do it and let some other activity go; you’ll relax and lose that stressful feeling and desire your husband once again. Exercise does enhances the blood flow through the body and it increases the blood flow to the genitals too and this will increase the amount of testosterone your body produces.
Yes, I know you have work which requires your attention but make time for yourself too. Assign your husband some of your duties and take time to get some enjoyment out of your life. This will be the best gift you can ever give to yourself, to your husband, and to your family. It might even save your marriage because a marriage without sex is boring and it can ruin a perfectly good union.
