Are you thinking about throwing an alien themed Halloween party? If not, maybe you should give it some thought. Based on my experience as a former party planner, many people seem to enjoy an alien themed party. With that said, here’s a quick rundown on a few alien themed party favor ideas that you may want to consider using:
Alien Molded Sports Bottles
In my opinion, alien molded sports bottles would make super party favors. Windy City Novelties, Inc. sells an adorable alien sports bottle for around $4. It’s green in color and comes outfitted with a lid, a leash and a straw. You could fill it with gummy alien boogers or let the party guests use it to drink out of during the event.
Miniature alien toys would make wonderful party favors as well. One of my favorite is the Space Alien Wind-Up. It is a diminutive UFO complete with a green alien driver. The Space Alien Wind-Up sells for less than $2 each through Birthday in a Box. Other alien themed toy options available through party supply shops include alien bounce balls, alien figurines, sticky tentacle flings, martian fingers and light-up UFO flyers. In my experience, most alien toys tend to sell for less than $3 each.
Depending on your party guests’ ages, you may want to consider handing out Alien Test Tubes of Slime. Alien Test Tubes of Slime are just what the name suggests. It’s a test tube filled with a miniature alien and a gelatinous substance. There are several party supply retailers that sell it. Oriental Trading is one of them. A dozen Alien Test Tubes of Slime tend to cost $11. If you don’t like the idea of using test tubes, there are also companies like Shindigz and Rhode Island Novelty that sell small jars of Galaxy Slime and Alien Amoeba Putty. Jars of Galaxy Slime and Alien Amoeba Putty generally sell for less than $2 apiece.
Alien Boppers and Alien Sunglasses
Kids would also undoubtedly enjoy a set of Glow-in-the-Dark Alien Boppers. They are similar to other glow-in-the-dark boppers except the ends of the antennae feature an alien’s head. A dozen Glow-in-the-Dark Alien Boppers are usually available for purchase through Rhode Island Novelty for $6. If you have teens on your guest list, you may want to substitute the alien boppers with a pair of Green Alien Sunglasses. The glasses have a green frame and dark lenses. You can generally purchase a dozen Green Alien Sunglasses through party supply shops for $21.
