The “Party People”- Hosts “America’s Got Talent” Murray SawChuck (Tropicana) & his wife/ assistant Chloe (“Fantasy”- Luxor), Magician/ Singer Ben Stone & “American Idol” Jasmine Trias, and entrepreneurs Bob & Betty Ann Golden- are at it again!
First it was a Holiday Jam Party in December, at Bob and Betty Ann’s beautiful home, and now an invitation-only 2013 New Year Kick-Off Party in January, I can’t wait to see what is next?
The Foundation Restaurant at the top of the Mandalay Bay Resort was the perfect setting for a party.
Over 100 celebrities and special guests entered the private elevators to ride up to the 43rd floor to fill the beautiful Shangri-La Room.
Murray SawChuck enjoys parties, “I love socializing, I like people, I think when you are in show business, if you don’t love people you can’t be an entertainer.”
Murray had to share Chloe this evening as she was performing in “Fantasy” and would be joining him later. He said, “Of course, somebody’s got to pay the bills, right.”
It’s cold in Las Vegas so Murray will take his show on tour to Jamaica, the Bahamas, the Grand Cayman and other islands in the Caribbean for three weeks then they will be back at the Tropicana Hotel March 18 to appear in his 4 pm show. He feels, “We are really excited about returning to the Tropicana. Rosanne will be starring in her new 7 pm show.”
Murray is shooting a new episode for “Home and Family”, on the Hallmark Channel.
Murray’s appearances in “Pawn Stars” continue while his new TV series, the Jada Gray Show, airs Saturdays, on CBS, with him playing Murray the Magician. I think he can do it! Murray said, “It is not much of a stretch.”
The guests included Frank Sinatra Tribute Artist/ Comedian Peter Pavone (The Rat Pack), Paul Shortino (“Quiet Riot” and “King Cobra” bands), singer “Zowie Bowie” (Red Rock), Lefty- the bumbling magician (Murray SawChuck’s show), Emmy Award winning set designer Andy Womsley (Designed the sets of America’s Got Talent ventriloquist Terry Fator, illusionist Nathan Burton, “Biggest Looser”, “American Idol”, “America’s Got Talent”), entertainer Tommy Wind-Tommy Riccardo, and to many to mention.
Guest Tommy Riccardo is a versatile performer. Tommy discussed his show, “I appear as a magician, martial artist, dancer, singer and musician in my show at the Boulevard Theater, on the strip.”
All of that in one show with one performer!
Tommy explained, “It is a lot of fun, we blended it all together. Murray’s guest act, Lefty, directs and is the consultant for my show as well as being a close friend of mine.”
Ben Stone and Jasmine Trias were thrilled with their successful 2012 season in the “Vegas Magic Theater” and the “Stars of Magic Show”.
Ben commented, “It was great that I was able to sing and do my magic in the same show. Not only is Jasmine a great singer but she also has a lot of other strengths, we are putting together a variety show that really showcases what we can do and feature some other great talents in Las Vegas.
She is really versatile and we really want to play on that to show all the different sides of what we can do. Las Vegas deserves the best so we are putting something together to give everyone comedy, variety, magic and singing all in one show.”
