Having kids and a busy work schedule can really put a damper on your fitness routine. However, if you plan around your kids, you can have the best routine ever without even going to the gym. My Fitness program consists of cardio,strength, and high calorie burning fun. Exercise doesn’t have to be boring, use your creativity to make the best of it. We all have our own creative thoughts that can keep our adrenaline pumping and the fat melting.
Seven Days A Week
Monday thru Sunday I do an hour of Zumba ( which you can read about further on in this article) and an hr of Just Dance 3 ( which I will explain as well). After lunch I do 2-3 miles on the treadmill with a speed of 3.5-5.0. I start at 3 and continue this pace for five full minutes. Then I switch it up to 4.0 and start running for another 5 minutes. After time is up, I just keep upping the pace until I have reached my miles desired.
After all of this cardio I am quite tired, so I slow it down and do whatever house chores need to be done. Even though I am vacuuming, washing dishes, moping, doing laundry, or cooking I am still burning easy calories without working hard.
Once all the housework is complete and dinner is prepared, I walk to go get my kids from school, come home and do 100 sit ups. After homework and dinner is all complete, me and my kids dance once again to either Zumba or Just Dance.
My philosophy is, once I sweat and start feeling the burn, then I know my fitness routine is complete. However, this routine also includes watching what I eat and staying under 1300 calories a day due to my thyroid disease.
My thyroid plays a high part in this, because me trying to lose one pound and tighten up takes months compared to others. It really stinks having hypothyroidism, but it just gives me more strive knowing I have to overdo myself just to lose the unwanted pounds and reach my goals.

Just Dance 3
Here you have another dance craze that helps shed the unwanted pounds using your Wii controller, your energy, and dancing ability. The faster you dance the more you sweat, which equals losing weight. Doing one hour of Just Dance 3, you can actually burn anywhere from 300-400 calories.
One thing I really enjoy is, I don’t have to worry if I look funny dancing or not doing the exact movement. The program will tell you if your doing ok, you missed or your right on target. And with these motions on the screen it motivates you more to get those darn moves right. Never have to waste your money at a gym, just work around your kids. Your goals can be accomplished.
