As we zoom through the month of June, 2012 I can’t help but feel dismayed about our nations vitriol exhibited by both Republicans and Democrats. A short while ago, for a brief moment, we were able to watch the unveiling of the paintings of President G.W. Bush and his wife Laura. Both President Obama and President Bush were actually funny as they each took their turns with the microphone. Not to be out done, Mrs. Obama and Mrs. Bush were equally as warm cordial and funny. It was a rare moment where politics took a back seat. This moment allowed the viewer to actually feel proud of our country. That moment didn’t last long as the likes of Rachel Maddow and her ilk ripped into the event that very evening, complaining that VP Dick Cheney was not in attendance. I have to question how on earth do these people get their own shows? One shutters to think how low we will go with accusations and insults as the election draws closer. Frankly, I’m convinced it hurts our country. If you gather your political opinions based on the media please be aware that you are being misled by both agendas. Here are some election demographics.
There are approximately 169 million registered voters out of a possible 201 million eligible. The demographics breakdown by party goes like this: There are 72 million voters whom are registered Democrats, This doesn’t mean they are for all the various groups, ideologies, anti faith and OWS movements and Hollywood elite .Most are simply honest people, straight middle income citizens interested in the economy and more jobs . There are 55 million voters whom are registered Republican. Not all of these are tea party loyalists or hawks looking to continue to involve our troops in conflicts that do not seriously concern us. Most republicans are middle income people of faith. They also are looking at the economy and job creation as the main issues of election 2012.
There are 42 million voters registered as independents. One would surmise this choice is because of all the fringe elements the two national parties currently make you swallow when you take their pill. Other voting facts; there are approximately 32 million people eligible to vote that didn’t register. There are 14 million registered black voters in this country. There are approximately 3 million registered Jewish voters in our country. There are approximately 600,000 same sex couples that are registered to vote.
This being the case, why are the daily media sources running lead stories on nominal issues? Perhaps to get the voters mind off of the larger issues, spending, war, anti faith movements, the lack of jobs.
I think when the curtain is closed at the ballot we as Americans really want the same for this country. The media is so totally biased in trying to generate negative feelings between the two parties. For example it force feeds the politics of Israel as if it were our 51st state. It uses hot button cases like the Martin verses Zimmerman case to breed hatred and ill will. Headlines sell clicks and clicks sell advertisement dollars. We need to remove this element from our country at once. Who is in charge of this media attack against America? Is it Soros’, Bilderbergs, Murdochs? Is it a communist or socialist agenda disguised as secular humanism? Where do we start to look? As a proud American I say start with the mirror. Don’t be misled any longer. Vote the real issues in November.
