For Amitabh Bachchan, those films were “Deewar” and “Kabhi Kabhie.” “Deewar” made him famous as an angry man, while “Kabhie Kabhie” showed fans his romantic side. The same thing happened with SRK. Chopra directed one of SRK’s biggest hits, “Darr,” a film in which SRK plays a crazy young man obsessed with Juhi Chawla. Chopra then brought out SRK’s romantic side in “Dil to Pagal Hai.”

Chopra’s Last Film, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan,’ is Already Breaking Records
With a sneaky move, Chopra kept the title of his last film a secret until the trailer release. The trailer broke one million views in its first day on Youtube and now has over five million views after one month. Little is known about the premise. What is known is that SRK’s role spans decades and he will woo both Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. Chopra wanted to celebrate his 50 years in Bollywood with this film and SRK will play a role similar to his character Raj in “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.” In this way, Chopra spans the decades, connecting the old and the new. Chopra became ill before he was able to finish filming one dance number for the film. “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” releases in theaters Diwali weekend, November 13, 2012.
