I had somebody ask me what all the big fuss was about for Friday nights at Privae (pronounced Pree Vay) in Dallas. So I decided that I would go out there on a Friday night to find out. Let me just say this, if you are looking for a place to party with celebrities, then Privae should definitely be one of your top choices on a Friday night. I will make one small suggestion for you though. If you are looking for a lounge to chill have drinks and talk to friends then this is probably not the place for you because Privae is a wall to wall party from the front door to the bar in the back of the room.
The ambiance in Privae is immaculate and this has made it the perfect place for athletes, actors, reality stars, and Dallas’ most popular socialites to hang in Dallas. Beautiful waitresses, go-go dancers, the sexiest VIP host in Dallas and two of Dallas’ premier promotions companies, partychaser.com & Tickled Pink Event Planning, has made this one of the top places to be seen on a Friday night. Privae is located upstairs at Club Beamers on Walnut Hill and from what I was told by the VIP hostess, Kimesha Jackson, the only way to guarantee yourself a table here is to reserve yours at least two weeks in advance.
Big Tigger, most notably known as a host on BET, had an event the night that I went and when I got there at 11:30pm there was a line wrapped around the building. On the inside every table was sold out and there was only room to do one thing, party. The bottle service sparkles filled the air from the time I arrived until last call and I didn’t think it was possible to see that many bottles of Ciroc in one place at one time. As I scanned the tables I saw an array of basketball stars like Dominique Jones from the Mavericks, Kenyon Martin who most recently played for the Clippers, Brendon Hayword from the Bobcats and Terrell Harris from the Miami Heat. Also in the building were comedian Bill Bellamy and the host Big Tigger, who along with resident DJ Klassik, kept everyone in the building thoroughly entertained? I did go downstairs to Beamers as well but I will save that review for another article.
I always ask 10 people to rank all the events that I cover and Privae ranked 4 out of 5 stars. The few people that ranked it low did so because they don’t like crowds. I’m not sure why people go to clubs if they don’t like crowds but all in all if great music, good drinks, sexy people and celebrities is what you are looking for then Privae is the place to be on Friday nights.
