There are a lot of single moms that would love to have a full time home income, and I am personally one of those single moms. It is hard to work full time out of your home and have someone else raise your children. In my case I am currently working full time and will be starting school full time soon. This will take a huge amount of time away from my son. This is things that I am doing to create a full time home income as a single mom.
Online Writing:
I have been writing online for a couple of years, and it is a very good way to earn a full time home income. There are a few great sites, like Yahoo Contributor Network, that allows you to write articles and receive financial gains for those articles.
The biggest thing about contributing to sites such as Yahoo, Firehow, Squidoo, and others is to be consistent with your work. If you do not submit content on a regular basis, you will not see the rewards. Writing online can help you create a full time home income by itself, you just need to learn what you can write that will allow you to do so.
Be sure to contribute to a few different sites so that you can create multiple streams of income. When writing online you have a chance of one site shutting down or changing their payment methods. When you are a single mom you want to be sure that if one site shuts down, you can still have a full time home income coming in from other sources.
Survey Sites and Paid Per Action Sites:
I have not found any one survey or paid per action sites that pay a great deal, but they make a great addition to my other income sources. For the most part you only spend a short amount of time on each task and you can get cash, gift cards, or different items for doing these things. One of my favorite survey sites is Mysurvey, and my favorite paid per action site is InboxDollars. I have been paid multiple times from both sites, and the payments do help me a great deal to reach my goal of creating a full time home income as a single mom.
Direct Sales:
There are direct sales companies that offer everything from cosmetics to tools. If you have the time to have parties and get the sales coming in, it is worth the time. Direct sales are usually something that you can do with your kids help, and spend more time with them. If you are interested in doing direct sales you should do your research.
Make sure that there is a demand for the products that you want to sell, and be sure that the investment you will put into your direct sales business will not take away from your family if the company does not work out.

Selling Items Online or from Home:
Ebay, Craigslist and Amazon are three great sites to sell items that you have around your house. This will not give you a full time income from home, but it will help you increase the amount of money that you can put away for whenever you decide to stop working outside of your home.
Selling items from your home such as gift baskets and food items can be done in some states, but you will need to check with your local laws. Here in my county you can sell food items such as jams, jellies, breads, candies, etc. at the local farmers market or craft fairs. Gift baskets and crafts can be sold online, at farmers markets, or local craft fairs. These things can become a full time income if you learn what can sell, and have the know how of being crafty.

- Make goals for every aspect of your home income; short term and long term

- Make a schedule for your home business
- Try to have some home business time separated from your family. As a single mom this may be hard, but try during the time the kids are sleeping or away from the house
- Track what is helping you make a full time home income, and what is not.
- Time everything so that you can be sure that the projects you are working on is worth your time.
Always remember what you are working for, and stay focused. There are times that is feels impossible to make a full time income from home as a single mom, but it is not.
