Since ABC announced it was going to host an all-stars special, rumors lit up the internet over who would be the best contestants to bring back. Kate Gosselin was just as polarizing as she was popular, but she didn’t make the cut. Kirstie Alley was one of the favorites to bring back and her return to the dance floor will be inspiring to faithful fans who admired her determination, hard work, and weight loss throughout the show when she partnered with pro dancer, Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
“Dancing” pro and season 13 winner, Karina Smirnoff, spoke with People magazine and shared her thoughts on which contestants will perform the best in season 15.
“The women are very strong, but the male celebrity guests are a little bit stronger overall,” Smirnoff said. “I mean, we have an Olympian male guest – Apolo Anton Ohno. I’m sure he’ll go very far.”
This 2012 cast for season 15 will no doubt bring in good ratings with some of the most-talked about stars.
“Dancing with the Stars” All-Stars premieres Monday, September 24 at 8 p.m., ET/PT on ABC.
