by pop tug

The celebrities are back in a new all-stars edition of “Dancing with the Stars.” These past winners and contestants will return to dance their way back into our hearts and to win that mirrorball trophy. They will each bring with them something special to the competition and we are looking forward to seeing what they can do this time around.

Pamela Anderson

“Baywatch” babe Pamela Anderson is back to prancing around on the dance floor just like she did when she was paired up with pro dancer Damian Whitewood back in season 10. The 45-year-old will bring a flamboyant flair as she shakes her booty this season.

Shawn Johnson

This Olympic gold medalist can do an awesome backflip and has proven that she is truly a winner as she took home that mirrorball trophy on season 6. The 20-year-old gymnast will bring with her this season the same athletic ability and flexibility that she had the first time around.

Bristol Palin

This 21-year-old proved to America that she wouldn’t let controversy bring her down. She came in third place with partner Mark Ballas by her side in 2010. The young single mom brings with her determination and a little more dance experience than her first time on the show.

Kelly Monaco

This star of “General Hospital” was the very first “DWTS” winner and will be getting her dancing shoes on once again. The sexy soap star that plays the role of Jason Morgan’s mob wife can brings lots of drama to the show with her acting experience. She can certainly bring on the tears and can also fill out those skimpy outfits as well.

Emmitt Smith

This Super Bowl Champ showed just how an athlete can do the salsa when he won that mirror ball trophy back in 2006. His winning performances almost put his touchdowns to shame. This huggable guy will bring with him more energy and a touch of his football style to the dance floor.

Melissa Rycroft

She is known as the girl that got the final rose, but then had it taken away by bachelor Jason Mesnick. One week later, she headed to “DWTS” to partner with Tony Dovolani. She did quite well as she came in third place in season 8. This new mom will bring the ability to overcome any obstacles that might come along this season.

Apolo Ohno

The Olympic medalist in speed skating was partnered with Julianne Hough and together they won the coveted trophy in season four. This 30-year-old brings speed and high energy that will be well-spent in this competition.

Drew Lachey

This winner of season 2 is famous for his “Save a Horse” routine he did with dance partner Cheryl Burke. The 98 Degrees singer has proven that he can bring more daring routines to the dance floor and will most likely give us another thrill this season.

Gilles Marini

This French actor was one of the favorites on season 8 of “DWTS,” especially among the female variety. The ladies will once again enjoy seeing him shake his amazing body. This sexy guy ended up in second place, losing out to Shawn Johnson. Will there be another final with those two this time around?

Helio Castroneves

This three-time winner of the Indianapolis 500 was also the season five winner of “DWTS.” He is used to a fast-paced lifestyle, which will give him an edge this time around. The race car driver will be sure to give it his all with one of the talented pro dancers.

Joey Fatone

The ‘N SYNC singer came so close to winning the competition on season 4, but it didn’t happen for him then. What he does bring to the show is his great sense of humor which keeps everyone upbeat and having fun. The 35-year-old can dance pretty darn good, too!

Kirstie Alley

The “Cheers” actress had a lot to prove when she came out on the dance floor to tango with hot pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Even though she didn’t win that mirrorball trophy, she won the hearts of America and lost quite a bit of weight in the process. The 61-year-old will bring her charm and wit to this fan-favorite competition.
