Diablo 3 is a long awaited game. We have waited since the announcement of its release in 2008. Everyone was worried. What is it going to be like? Is it going to have amazing graphics? Well, I am here to fill you in.
Diablo 3 has a ranking system. It helps you better differentiate between how hard an enemy is or how good a weapon or armor is. A white named enemy is a common enemy. Blue is the next color, followed by yellow, and then purple. The same goes for weapons and armor.
Grey items have no stats other than armor. White may have a basic stat increase. A blue weapon will have better stats. Such as an extra experience gain, attack speed, and more money gain. A yellow weapon or armor is rare, giving even better stats, such as elemental damage. The last is orange, a legendary item, these are the best items.
Diablo 3 has many new places to see while fighting evil to save the world. There is still some old places you may know from Diablo 2. There are also new enemies and weapons to admire.
The game play is more fluid both in movement, attacking, and environment. The environment is extremely rich and filled with movement. This makes for much better graphics and visually stimulating. Compared to Diablo 2, the graphics make the world seem much larger in comparison.
Spells and attacks have more visual effects. They also have upgrades for spells and attacks called runes. This allows you to have a more personal feel to them. This makes you feel like you actually perfected the skill on your own.
Also, the damage to the environment and enemies from skills and spells is stunning. The damage can result as anything from making a crater in the ground, to cracks and burns in the ground. Objects in the area can be used to cause damage to your enemies. Anything in the environment, including logs, barrels, log piles, fire, chandeliers, stone walls, and rocks can be used to damage your foes.
There are some new things added to Diablo 3. One of these things is crafting. This gives you the ability to make many different weapons and armor. These weapons and armor have random stats when made. This is great due to the fact that Diablo 2 did not have crafting. You can also change the color of your armor with dyes.
Jewel crafting is back allowing you to upgrade you armor and weapons even further. These gems go in slots, allowing for upgrades.
These advancements to Diablo 3 from Diablo 2 make the game a huge upgrade and amazing game to play. It will keep you on the edge of your seat. Once you start playing, you will find yourself not wanting to stop. Many people have said even though it was just released, they are playing it like it is a job. Meaning at least eight hours a day.
if you want to play a different class, you won’t find it boring. the land changes every time you start a new character. This keeps the game upbeat and new.
