Suggestions are being made that the Democratic Party has little understanding of economics, nor desires to follow such. The truth is they understand economics very well, only their perception is not the same as the Republican Party members. We can believe in money as the main point of all business until reality sets in, then understand it is only part of such. The business reality is we determine the idea of profit to be whatever we can gain from the business venture. This does not mean the best results for the business, only there were gains made that fit the parameters set. These leads one to ask what parameters were set and how they were reached?
Economic understanding is a basic for any political party today to know, such is needed to determine the expenditures and considerations involved in political positions. The length of time the Democratic Party has existed indicates changes have been made from the start, this to keep up with the competition. Newer political organizations must learn these same developments, to exist is one thing to make a difference requires far more. Both the Tea Party and the Occupy Wall Street group have had to learn these requirements in the past years as they have grown. But understanding also comes within the perception the political ideology agrees with.
We take in information as we perceive it to fit the life we already have. Ideology is like any filter in communication, we bring in what happens around us by what we understand of this world. Thus what we know and perceive as right or wrong is determined as well by the way we see fit in our lives. The differences in one political ideology may be nothing more than just a simple set of wordings changed from one to another. Perception is how we see these wordings, filter by our biases to either allow or not as a standard. Determining how and what these ideologies mean to each of us are the means to determine the difference in politics.
Business is the means we modern humans are able to provide resources in our lives, from this interaction(s) comes the concept of economics. The basis of any business it to survive, profit is but a means to this survival. Considering money the most important thing is what has caused many businesses to lose sight of their goals and focus. Private business ownership is the best means to financially stabilize family income, directing and controlling your own income. This is true profit, the freedom gained, but money is only a resource we created, not one that created us. A business venture is meant to provide use of this resource, thus giving the needs and resources we have determined for our lives.
The business world has determined money to be the all wonder of operations, presented by the Republican ideology as a necessity for American survival. A concept we created to support us now to have more importance than those who created it. This is the big business concept the Republicans have been using, stating again and again how more important big business is than life itself. Taking the concepts of economics into a twisted frame of mind, just to support the political ideology they want to push at that time. Supporting big business and not individual rights has been what the Republicans have stated for years. If financial freedoms were to be gained for the individuals there would be more competition for big business, competition such business could not survive.
Following the modern economic theories we understand when making changes there are those who will have to make adjustments. This is based on the infrastructures within society needing to changes to follow the new ideology set before society. The fact is we have been following the Republican ideology for so long the changes needed now are making many adjust. The problem is those same have caused the public to support them and now do not want to work to make such adjustments. Our society’s standards were never about big business or government taking control all-over things, but individuals making decisions to control their own lives.
The Republicans are using old tricks once more, confusing the ideology they present with the needs of economic theory. The simplest trick has been to determine big business as small business simple based on the number of owners, not the amount of money. But if money is considered the only profit, then it is also what should be the determination for business size typing. When it comes to determining almost all else, it is the size of funds they say matters, not the ownership. Republicans can protect the ownership from taxes, without having to give up the financial support gained for their ideology. So the Republicans are only protecting the corrupt and special interest that brought us to this economic state to begin with. Never allowing changes or competition to rule the markets, only political favors at the public’s expense.
