You may wonder, what are some of those foods that actually increase my metabolism? Which foods is it good for me to eat when trying to lose weight? And maybe…Do they even exist? These were my questions at the beginning of my “journey to skinny”. I often found myself feeling deprived because there was never something that I could eat until I was full. I missed the feeling of having eaten more than enough and eating simply what I wanted, so I decided to dedicate myself to trying to find foods that burned fat in my body; foods that I could eat continuously and just feel good about myself right after. Soon enough I found just the right supplements.
As a person that hates spicy foods I actually learned to like hot peppers. I noticed that after having just one I felt better about myself and since the peppers are so HOT it boosts your metabolism causing your food to be digested faster. Try to add hot peppers to your meals, maybe with some chicken it adds flavor and it burns fat!
Oatmeal is a perfect source for carbs while you’re dieting, it gives you all the carbs you need but at the same time it helps you burn calories. It takes more time for your stomach to process these whole grains than the actual calories itself, therefore leaving you with negative calories! Tell me if it doesn’t get any better than that.
Now this is my personal favorite, green tea is extremely relaxing and it burns a bunch of calories, 3 cups of green tea burns 70 calories which is quite a lot. I usually drink about 3 glasses every meal and so far it has done wonders. Not only has my skin improved but my body feels more relaxed, it’s like a jump in exotic countries. I know the taste isn’t going to be the best, but it’s totally worth it.
Now I decided to put this item right after Green Tea because cinnamon burns fat, for the same reasons hot peppers do and you can add it to your Green Tea to add some sweet flavor to the mixture. I love cinnamon and it’s perfect for any dessert, I wouldn’t have expected it to be fat burning, but it is!
Now personally I love cold water and I always drink it anyways, but when I found it about it’s calorie consuming properties I was even happier. Since most of the fluids that enter your body must be room temperature your body does an awful lot of work to make the cold water you just swallowed warm and that is exactly why it burns calories. A little tip, add lemon to burn even more!
This might be a bit confusing but fruits and vegetables such as carrots, apples etc. burn fat too! A carrot is about 20-30 calories but while you chew it you’re burning calories taking you to a negative caloric intake which is great!
These foods have brought me far on my journey and I have noticed huge improvements just by adding these substances to my daily meals, so yes it is possible to eat and burn!
