The Neighbors (Comedy)
Wednesday’s @ 9:30pm
The Weavers, Marty and Debbie (Lenny Venito & Janie Gertz), think they have finally hit the jackpot when they snatch up a home in Hidden Hills, an exclusive gated community in New Jersey. They quickly learn there is something out-of-this-world about their neighbors. First of all, they are all named after famous athletes like Larry Bird (Simon Templeman), Reggie Jackson (Tim Jo), Jackie Joyner-Kersee (Toks Olagundoye) and Dick Butkis (Ian Patrick). At dinnertime, the Weavers discover their new neighbors “eat” with their eyes by reading books. Oh, and they are also from the planet Zabvron, where the males bear the children and green goo teardrops come from their ears. Much like the aliens on “3rd Rock from the Sun,” the Zabvronians are waiting from instructions from home while watching the humans. But this is the first time this closed gate community has actually met humans up close and personal. The two life forms together learn that the troubles associated with parenthood and marriage is universal. Also starring in “The Neighbors” are Clara Mamet, Max Charles and Isabella Cramp.
