On a regular basis I purchase and eat BBQ-flavored chicken wings. The two varieties that I most recently purchased are Tyson Any’tizers Honey BBQ Chicken Wings (http://www.tyson.com) and Perdue Fully Cooked Honey BBQ Wings (http://www.perdue.com. Both brands feature fully cooked wings that can be heated quickly and easily in conventional and microwave ovens.

Texture / Consistency
Because these are chicken wings being compared here you might think that these varieties don’t contain much meat but that does not hold true. Both the Tyson Any’tizers Honey BBQ Chicken Wings and the Perdue Fully Cooked Honey BBQ Wings contain a good amount of real chicken meat.
It seems like the Tyson wings contain more BBQ coating than the Perdue wings but the Perdue wings seem to have a little more meat on the bones. For the most part each brand of wings contains very little gristle or unpleasant matter and each brands’ chicken meat is real, with pleasant mouth-feels provided.

Taste / Flavor
If you’re a fan of barbecue chicken wings there’s a good chance you would enjoy eating either one of these items. Tyson Any’tizers Honey BBQ Chicken Wings and Perdue Fully Cooked Honey BBQ Wings each contain fresh chicken meat that is definitely real. No mystery meat was detected in either variety.
While these two varieties of chicken wings are indeed quite flavorful they also maintain their own distinctive flavors. When I eat the Tyson wings I taste the barbecue flavor more than with the Perdue wings. The BBQ flavor on the Tyson wings tastes sweeter than the Perdue BBQ flavor.
When I eat the Perdue wings I taste a smoked flavor as much as the barbecue glaze. Both brands have smoke flavor added but it seems like the Perdue wings contain more of it. The meat in each variety tastes very good and they are both similar to wings served at restaurants.
On a flavor scale of one through ten I would assign Tyson Any’tizers Honey BBQ Chicken Wings a rating of 9.25.
On a flavor scale of one through ten I would assign Perdue Honey BBQ Wings a rating of 9.50.

Overall Rating
To be honest, both of these varieties of BBQ-flavored chicken wings are very good. They each offer a good amount of meat and their honey barbecue flavor is enhanced by smoke flavoring.
Personally, I really like the barbecue flavor offered with the Tyson Any’tizers Honey BBQ Chicken Wings but I prefer the chicken meat provided with the Perdue Fully Cooked Honey BBQ Wings.
