Sure, back when the dot-coms were booming, we all contemplated it: The lure of the “ecommute” — working from home and earning the same salary we were making without that grueling, smoggy, interminable commute.
When the dot-coms took a swandive back in late 2000/early 2001, in the minds of most of us, that dream went up in smoke and disappeared. Gone forever was any future promise of a chance to live the dream of our own version of the “salad days”…
Lee Evans (with a resume that would qualify her for just about any well-paying position she wanted working outside the home) found herself tired of getting up at 5:30 in the morning and rushing to get to work on time, cramming down junkfood during hurried lunch-hours, 10-hour per day absences from her family’s lives and investing tons of money in his wardrobe. She decided she’d never again leave home to work — and she’s been wildly successful.
The reason for her success, Lee contends, is because she puts every potential e-commute employer through a rigorous qualification process.
Most work-at-home opportunities, Lee says, are less than lucrative and some are even downright scams. She decided to write a resource book that would qualify online employment opportunities using the same stringent criteria she’d been using for her own job searches for years, such as:
- How long has the company been in business, where is it headquartered and what, exactly, does it do?
- What are the company’s annual revenues? Is it on the Fortune 1000, 500 or 100 list or does it service any of the companies that are?
- If it’s a relatively new company, does it have good potential?
- Has the company won any honors such as CNN Money Magazine ‘s “Best Company to Work For” Award?
And Lee’s assistance doesn’t end when you buy the book, either. She vows that the links to all of the jobs she lists in his book will be current and working — even though companies change their websites constantly. If for some reason a reader is having problems with one of the links or listings in this book, Lee cordially invites him or her to contact him and he will search out the revised information and be more than happy to supply it.
Here’s what Lee has to say about this:
“You are not just buying a book, you are buying my promise that I will tirelessly provide you with the most up to date information that I have at my disposal. Consider me your Work from Home Job Search Coach for the life of your purchase. I want you to make your dreams come true!”
The work-from-home job market has never been stronger…
More and more companies are discovering daily the tremendous cost savings that not having to build, furnish, heat, cool and insure a large office building brings. For workers who leave the commute behind, not having that huge gasoline credit card bill each month combined with a real sense of helping local air quality is a win-win.
