Neon Trees is an American pop-rock band based out of Provo, Utah, that has an amazing sound and an upbeat collection of music. Comprised of Tyler Glenn, Chris Allen, Branden Campbell, and Elaine Bradley, and together they have compiled an impressive collection of music. Here is a look at five of the best songs yet by Neon Trees, and see why they deserve all the attention that they receive, and then some.
One of the best songs by Neon Trees yet is “Animal.” This upbeat song has an infectious beat, catchy lyrics, and sound that had me hooked immediately. Whenever I listen to this song, I cannot help but sing and dance along. My favorite line of the song is “I feel the chemicals kicking in…” “Animal” is an awesome song that leaves audiences in a better mood than they were before listening.
Another great song by Neon Trees is “Everybody Talks.” Just as upbeat, if not moreso, than the band’s other songs, “Everybody Talks” is catchy, bubbly, and seriously memorable. The beat is down right infectious, and while listening, many fans find that they simply cannot sit still. “Everybody Talks” is definitely a song that will get people dancing. Additionally, be sure to check out the music video for “Everybody Talks” for added entertainment.
“1983” is another fantastic song by Neon Trees. Like so many of their other songs, “1983” is upbeat, infectious, and bubbly. It is very difficult to refrain from singing and dancing along. For added entertainment value, be sure to check out the music video for “1983;” its definitely worth watching, especially if you’ve lived through the ’80s and frequently miss the oddities of the decade.
“In the Next Room”
Another top notch song by Neon Trees that is definitely worth mentioning is “In The Next Room.” This song is upbeat, but it has an edge that many of their other songs do not. Listening to this song, it is evident to me just how talented this group of musicians are, and their sound is quite diverse. Like many of their other songs, “In The Next Room” has a great music video to accompany the song; be sure to check it out.
A song that took me by surprise from Neon Tree’s music collection is “Your Surrender.” This song has a completely different sound from the band’s other songs. Featuring a harder edge instead of their typical upbeat pop sound, “Your Surrender” fits more cleanly into a straight rock category. This song shows off how diverse the band’s talent truly is.
