Are your children smitten with the Moshi Monsters? If so, you may want to give some thought to planning a birthday party that allows the adorable creatures to take center stage. Based on my experience as a special events planner, there are several items that would make suitable party favors for Moshlings. Here’s a quick peek at a few of them:
One of the first items that you may want to add to your party favor list is Moshi Monsters Foil Stickers. They are cute, full-color and feature many of the game’s characters. You can also typically purchase them through retailers like Party Pieces for less than $2 each. In my experience, the stickers work well when paired with other similar gift items like pencils, pencil cases, notepads, erasers and pens.
Do your pint-sized guests have a penchant for jokes? Well then, you may want to consider splurging for a case of “My Moshi Monsters Joke Books”. The jokes are geared towards young children and feature a multitude of characters that the kids are bound to recognize. You can usually buy the books through the game’s web store for around $5 each.
I’d also suggest that you think about purchasing a case of Moshi Mash Up Trading Cards. They tend to retail for less than $1 and fit easily inside most goodie bags. The kids seem to like the cards because some of them contain special information related to the game. I tend to like them because of their price. As a matter of fact, because the cards are so inexpensive, you may want to consider pairing them with another party favor like stickers or candy.
Would you rather give your little gamers an edible treat? If so, there are several options to choose from. For starters, you could opt to make themed lollipops with a candy mold from Molds-n-More. The molds retail for roughly $4 and yield six monster figures. You could also opt to purchase a Moshie Cookie Cutter Kit. It comes with two cookie cutters and usually sells for $5 through stores like Hawkin’s Bazaar. Don’t want to don an apron? Don’t worry. There are also companies that sell ready-made themed candy. Ready-made candies to choose from include surprise eggs, triple dip and PEZ.
If you don’t like to hand out edibles, perhaps you’d enjoy giving each of your guests a Squash Moshi. They are small, colorful squeak toys designed to represent different characters from the game. Each one tends to sell through the game’s website for less than $2. Characters to consider purchasing are Coolio, DJ Quack, Cutie Pie and Pooky.
