Scientific theory proves what is real on the basis of the physical world of matter, mass and answer questions that are asked about the Universe and the Earth.
This article is not based on any scientific theory, but only from my own experiences.
Experience # 1: In search of my real mother.
The year was 1974 and my first husband and I were making some drastic changes in our lives.
Finding out that I was pregnant for my second child was not on our agenda of changes. However, a job and move change was!
My husband and his father-in-law took a trip to Arizona to figure out a place to set up an Air Conditioning and Refridgeration business.
Once they had things in order, my daughter, Jamie and I would fly out to Arizona to live.
The new place we flew to was a little town between Tuscon and Phoenix (which seemed like it was in the middle of the desert) called Casa Grande.
I can vaguely remember walking off the plane into the airport lobby hand in hand with my 2 year old daughter and a pooched out belly that let others know I was expecting another child.
It wasn’t long after we settled into our new home, I was once again curious about making contact with my real mother!
The history of my childhood involved my parents divorcing when I was about 2 and then my dad took both my brother and I to raise us. Although my real mother did at first try to have us in her life, for whatever reason, she became a distant memory for my brother and I.
I remember when I was around 12, I was informed about being raised by a stepmother and my real mother was no longer a part of mine or my brothers’ life.
In finding out this information left me with thoughts off and on about my real mother!
When I was pregnant for my first child, Jamie, through a realitive I was staying with, I was able to get some information and actually had my first contact with my real mother that I had not seen since I was two years old.
I was living in Lansing, Michigan at that time and she actually flew into Lansing, Michigan from Arizona shortly after I gave birth to my first child.
The visit was brief and I was a little disappointed because I did not feel a connection with her!
What did I expect, I had not seen her since I was two and now here I was almost 20!
Anyway, between meeting the man I was to marry and all the other changes, I lost her address and that is why when I moved to Arizona, I had to do a new search for my real mother!
Thus, my search begins!
At first, I made a list of what I already knew!
Her last known name. Her last known location. Anyone else that may have been connected to her through another previous marriage!
All these were key to helping me locate and find my mother!
If you recall, I was not the one who picked the area of Casa Grande to live in, it was my husband and my father-in-law.
I can’t remember all the details of me finding my mother, but the one thing that I do remember, is that one day my husband comes home and says:
“How badly do you want to find your mother?”
Not knowing what he was going to say, I looked at him kind of dumbfounded and then said:
“Okay, tell me, do you know where she is at?”
The smirk on his face let me know that he indeed knew something!
I was a bit surprised when he finally let the cat out of the bag!
“Would you believe me if I told you, that your mother is working right here at the Hospital here in Casa Grande?” he asked me teasingly!
Was this just a coincidence, or did God act supernaturally on my behalf?
The above event was profound for me because it was one of the key events that led me on my journey toward my personal relationship with God!
Think about it, the miles between Lansing, Michigan and the little town of Casa Grande, Arizona and there I was with my real mother almost at my back door!
Experience #2: The Fire On Spencer Street.
February 1993, I was living with my third and present husband, Frank. We resided in a 4 bedroom house on Spencer Street in Battle Creek, Michigan. The only child left living with us was my son Johnney.
My husband and I had met in a bar in Battle Creek in prior years before the house fire.
We got married within a year after we met! However, I got tired of his drinking lifestyle and the bar scene and was always looking to get away from that type of lifestyle.
Several times we had seperated and finally got a divorce.
It seems I would end up taking him back and we would try to work things out. However, because I was the owner of the house, he would be the one going out the door!
In January of 1993, I had received my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. My oldest daughter was pregnant with my first grandchild. Frank was still doing his drinking binges which I hated!
It was now February and I had just started working a new job at the new Walmart store. I had put in applications with the State of Michigan in hopes of getting hired as a Probation Officer, and was waiting to hear something from them.
Prior to me meeting Frank, several things had happened to me that caused me to draw away from God! One was the divorce of John my first husband and then the really big devastation was when he got awarded custody of the two youngest children. He could not get custody of Jamie because he had never legally adopted her.
It was the beginning of February, 1993 and the day before the housefire, I remember while I was making my bed, a thought came to my mind that I was going to be investigated!.
I thought to myself, I did not do anything wrong, so why would I worry about being investigated?
I also remember pleading to God, please help me to get out of this continous cycle of Franks drinking problem.
The next day, I found out why I would be investigated. An elderly man that was staying in my home with us, lost his life in my house that had caught fire.
Here is what happened:
My husband had left for work early that morning around 6 a.m. I was still asleep in bed and due to an ear infection in each ear, I was under some sedation of pain medication and I had a hard time hearing anything. Everything was muffled.
I somehow managed to wake up to the sound of my little dog barking and then the strong odor of smoke!
I threw my covers off and went to the bedroom door (which was right off of the Kitchen) and thinking that someone had burned something on the stove in the Kitchen, flung the door open ready to ask someone what they were burning?
Much to my surprise, I was greeted with huge billows of black smoke that passed by me at the door! Upon looking out the door toward the front of the house, I saw nothing but huge flames of fire that now engulfed my front room.
As I began to gasp for air because the smoke was so overwhelming, I hollered 3 times FIRE! I then shut the door quickly and made a quick decision, the phone or the window? The window won my decision.
A couple of guys that were on their way to work at the Kellogg Cereal Factory down the road stopped to help me get out of my bedroom window!
I was investigated by the police because a man lost his life in this fire!
Although no one ever really knew what caused the fire, It was suspected that the man who lost his life, was the one who accidently caused the fire due to his cigarette.
I quit smoking permentatly after the loss of his life, my dogs life and my home and its belongings.
My daughter, Holly prior to this fire had several dreams about my house catching on fire.
The batteries in my smoke detector were dead and had been negleted to be replaced!
I ask you once again, based on this true experience to judge for yourself, is it just a coincidence, or did I really hear from God prior to this housefire?
Experience #3 Georgia, A New Beginning!
While writing this, a thought just occurred to me, maybe God moves upon peoples hearts to make changes in February?
The reason I am thinking about this is because in February of 1997 or 1998, I once again made a big change!
Frank was starting to slip back into his old drinking habits and I decided I did not want to be a part of that any longer.
So, I made a plan to leave him on Feburary 14 and go down to Georgia to stay with my daughter Holly till I got a place of my own and a job.
Frank was in a hospital doing a study to gain some money so he could help out with the expenses.
I packed up everything that I knew was mine, left Frank a note and stopped over to my dads house in Battle Creek, Michigan to tell him good bye and then left on my journey to Georgia.
It wasn’t long after I had gotten settled with my daughter in Georgia, till Frank called me on the telephone and told me he wanted to work things out, if I was willing to give him a chance!
He stayed in Battle Creek for about a month to make some money as a Cab Driver and then Flew out to Georgia to get us a place and get back together.
Once we got back together, we got into an apartment complex in Riverdale, Georgia.
Not long after being in this new place, I was making the bed and once again, thoughts that had came to my mind, this time, I heard a voice tell me,
“I want you to go back to church!”
I replied, “Ok, I will, but you tell me which one to go to, because there seems to be a church on every corner here in Georgia!”
I never shared this with Frank or anyone else.
It was a couple weeks later and I had went one evening to the local mall and was getting a set of nails done on my fingers.
While I was sitting at the drying table holding my hands up under the the dryer, there was a very nice lady and her little girl sitting across from me and she started a conversation with me.
She had asked me if I had went to church anywhere and I told her I was new to the area and was just starting to look for one. She then told me of this one and gave me the name of it and told me where it was at!
I told her, “I might just try that church!”
Within a couple of weeks from talking to that lady, I went to that church! I never ever seen her or her little girl there, but I do know, that going to that church, played an important role to make changes in not just my life, but also in Franks life.
We remarried through the minister of that church in “2000”. It was right after midnight of “1999” That I was remarried to Frank!
More importantly, both Frank and I decided to dedicate our lives to God and live our lives for Him and thus far, we have done so. No more drinking!!!
Frank and I have been together 26 years now!!!
I have shared my 3 experiences with you, so you can be the judge yourself, but if you want to have your own Supernatural experience, you will have to grab a hold of Gods’ hand yourself because He is already holding my hand!!!
