Are you tired of sending your wife the predictable bunch of flowers, or same old movie and dinner date for valentines? Here are a few ideas to keep your wife romanced and happy. Let’s face it, when mama’s happy everybody’s happy.
Send the kids out: If you have kids send them to a relative or friends house. Have the house to yourself, cook her dinner, run a bubble bath and pick some movies you’ll both enjoy. Watch movies in your underwear or better yet, get naked.
Hire a maid: Instead of sending flowers or candy or gifts. Nothing says “I love you” like a clean house. Send her a maid for a day to clean up the house from top to bottom. Then take her out to dinner.
Make reservations at a hotel: A hotel room with a nice hot tub or Jacuzzi may be just the thing to put romance into your life. Go to the hotel pub, have a few drinks, dip into the hot tub and make love all night as if you just met.
Send Balloons: Instead of flowers, send heart shaped balloons that say “I love you,” to her office or place of work. There is something about balloons that bring excitement when received. Make sure you include a nice little love note to tell her how much you appreciate her.
Serve her breakfast in bed: Scramble up some eggs, bacon with a bit of fruit on the side and some toast and serve it to her in bed with a nice hot cup of coffee and a flower, preferably a rose. If you can’t do it on Valentine’s day, give her a “breakfast in Bed” IOU with some roses and serve her on the weekend.
Think Basket: Take a basket and fill it with her favorite things, including perfume, spa or pedicure coupons, soap, cloths, sweets and a teddy bear.

Wine Tasting: Check out your local wine tasting facilities and take your wife for a window shopping trip and a little wine tasting, or simply just go for the wine. Be sure to buy your favorite bottle to go with dinner later.
Go Dancing! For music and dance lovers only! Purchase a couple of dance lessons and go dancing! Try square dancing, line dancing, or just dance cheek-to-cheek with ballroom dancing.
Skating: Take her ice skating or roller skating and bring out the child in each other.
Cook: Purchase a cooking class and take a cooking class together, or if you already love your own cooking, cook her a candle-lit dinner with champagne, truffles and soft romantic music. Barry White or Marvin Gaye are good ones to dance and kiss to.
