I have never seen what is deemed a full-body apparition. I have heard things, or seen flashes and puffs of mist out of the corner of my eye. I once saw what I thought was my son’s arm as he hid behind a water heater to jump out and scare me (it turned out that no one was there). I have always wished that I could see something that was in definite human form. How exciting and thrilling that would be!
However, I was not prepared for what I saw at my workplace recently, and have since decided that seeing a full-body apparition is not the experience I imagined it would be!
I work with 3 other women in a small space. There is one entry into the room. There are emergency exits but they are not accessible from the outside. I was standing right next to the entrance door, washing dishes at the sink. I was minding my own business, day-dreaming a bit while doing this mundane chore. From the corner of my left eye, I saw a man walking from right to left. I did not turn my head right away, I just remember wondering who that could be. I watched from the corner of my eye as he moved with a determined gait, slightly slouched forward, with long arms swinging back and forth as he walked. It suddenly occurred to me that no one had entered the door beside me, so I turned my head to face him full-on. I only had the visual impression of ‘grey’, nothing like clothing color or style, hair color, etc. And as I turned my head fully, there was no one standing in that area at all. I could see my three coworkers all sitting in their usual chairs. No one else was in our work space and there was literally nowhere a person could have gone, even if they moved quickly, because there are only solid walls enclosing the area.
I froze in place and tried to think of what I saw, but nothing new came to me. I recalled wondering who that man was, and not noticing anything like blue jeans or a yellow shirt, just grey. Just the general, yet solid, shape of a man walking past me, approximately 15 feet away. I did not know what to make of this, so I turned back to washing the dishes and did not speak about it to anyone else. In my mind’s eye, I still see a figure – grey, leaned forward slightly, arms swinging, legs moving one in front of the other, and striding across the floor with purpose.
I have definitely decided I am no longer interested in seeing a full paranormal form in front of my eyes! Seeing the grey man from the corner of my eye was enough for me!
