What’s wrong with raw milk, and why is there such a strong stance by the Federal government to deny those who are providing others the option of raw milk. Is it because raw milk is dangerous? Raw milk has not been shown to be dangerous as of yet. Or is it because of the milk producers in this country and the food establishment’s influence in government and their ultimate and utter concern for the staus quo.
No one can say for sure why this is going on. One thing is certain though, the people who are pushing raw milk are being treated like criminals and drug dealers in this country.
NaturalNews.com has uncovered that the health department located in LA county have went about door-to-door confiscation of raw milk. The purpose of the teams that go out to people’s home is to bully them into giving up the raw milk that they have bought for their family and themselves.
This LA county department has also approached Organic Pastures for more information, namely, the identities and addresses of those that the company has sold raw milk to. Their aim is believed to involve sending their raw milk confiscation teams to certain homes in an attempt to secure people’s personal raw milk reserves. They include both visiting home and calling people so they submit to the demands. These food confiscation teams are also being referred to as “food nazis”.
NaturalNews.com has also interviewed the founder of Organic Pastures, and he spoke of what he knows to be fact about a woman who personally experienced these food confiscation teams approaching her house asking her to give up the raw milk she had. After threatening to call the cops, post a picture and story of them on facebook, and refusing to give up the raw milk the teams finally gave up and left the woman’s residence.
In showing the nationwide criminalization, purchasing, and distributing of raw milk, a Minneasota woman has also been targeted. NaturalNews.com reports that the health department in Minneasota has demanded she cease allowing for the distributing of the milk on her property.
Charlene Chan-Muehlbauer lives in Minneasota near St. Paul. Charlene helps to pick up the raw milk which is more than 80 miles from her location. She and other local mothers alternate amongst themselves to pick up the milk. It is stored in her garage until members of the community can come and pick it up.
The people of this community abide by all legal standards and regulations to purchase and possess this milk, yet federal authorities are cracking down.
This milk has helped many people. Charlene’s motivation in part was to help her daughter whose consumption of the milk helped ease her rheumatoid arthritis.
There seems to be no stopping this mother in exercising her civil liberties to purchase and consume raw milk. It has not been shown to hurt anyone, which begs the question why it has come under the radar of the federalized health establishment.
