Marvel: Avengers Alliance, the popular Facebook game by Playdom, allows you to control your favorite Marvel heroes as they battle against a wide variety of classic villains. As you play the game, your agent gains experience and levels, opening up more equipment, missions, and options. While early levels are earned quickly, it gets increasingly difficult to earn later levels and unlock new content. The following tips will help you gain experience more quickly so you can level your character more quickly.
Invite Friends – It is a sad truth of most Facebook games that the more friends you have that play the game, the better you will do in the game and Marvel: Avengers Alliance is no exception. Friends can help you level in two ways. First, they can gift you energy packs that allow you to play the game more in a single day. Second, you can visit friends and potentially refill some spent energy. Always make sure to visit your friends after you have spent all of your energy, otherwise the energy refills you earn will be wasted.
Tasks – The game will list various tasks that it wants you to complete. These tasks will require you to do things like fight in PvP, research specific technology, use particular heroes, or complete specific missions. When you complete a task you gain an experience reward. Try to complete your tasks while doing other things and the extra experience will add up quickly.
Hard Threats – While on a mission, you will see three colors of threats: blue, orange, and red. These correspond with easy, medium, and hard difficulties. Hard threats give more experience points per enemy than easy or medium threats. Always do the hardest threat available and you will gain experience at a faster rate.
PvP – Any time you fight in PvP, you will gain experience points. The first five battles in a day are worth more experience than any further battles you engage in. At a bare minimum, you should fight in PvP at least five times a day. Though any battles you engage in are worth it because PvP doesn’t cost you energy to engage in.
3-Star Missions – As you play missions, you earn points toward a star rating in the mission. When you reach the third star, you gain 100 experience points. You should complete each mission enough times to reach that third star. It will earn you up to an extra 600 experience per chapter.
Epic Bosses – Epic bosses give an enormous amount of experience. As an added bonus, they even give a high amount of experience when you lose to them. You should gather the necessary heroes to fight each epic boss and then consider intentionally losing the fight so that you can repeatedly fight the epic boss.
Chapter 9 Challenge Mode – It will be quite a while before you reach chapter 9, but when you do, you will be earning experience rather slowly. The challenge mode in chapter 9 can change that significantly. When you choose to play on challenge mode, all battles are five levels higher than your agent level. This means you earn a lot of experience with even the easiest battles.
