TNA Presents Lock Down

by pop tug

Lock Down is a wrestling Pay-Per-View (PPV) presented by TNA. The PPV is called Lock Down because every Match takes place inside a Steel Cage. This years PPV will take place on Sunday, April 15. The PPV will feature four Championship Matches, the World Heavyweight Championship Match, the Tag Team Championship Match, the Television Championship Match, and the Knockouts Championship Match.

The World Heavyweight Championship Match will feature the Champion Bobby Roode and the challenger James Storm. Roode could be in trouble during this Match. He has been Champion for over five months. In that five months he has done whatever takes to keep the Championship even if that meant getting disqualified. Now Storm will have the chance to win back what Roode took from him. Roode won the Championship by bashing a beer bottle over the head of Storm. When Storm got his Re-Match he was attacked prior to the Match. Allowing Roode to pick up an easy victory. With nowhere to run inside the steel cage, this Match will not be so easy for Roode. Despite the obstacles Roode will face he still has a great shot at picking up the victory. For that reason I’m giving the victory to Bobby Roode.

The Tag Team Championship Match will feature the Champions Samoa Joe & Magnus and the challengers The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin). By the time the PPV rolls around Joe and Magnus will have only been Champions for a little more than two months. Besides that The Guns recently made their return to TNA. It is unlikely that would win the Tag Team Championships this soon. For those reasons I’m giving the victory to Samoa Joe and Magnus.

The Television Championship Match will feature the Champion Devon and the challenger Robbie T. Devon won the Championship last month at Victory Road when he answered Robbie T’s Open Challenge Match. Now Robbie T will get his Re-Match but it is highly unlikely that he will win his Championship back. For that reason I’m giving the victory to Devon.

The Knockouts Championship Match will feature the Champion Gail Kim and the challenger Velvet Sky. Without Madison Rayne at her side, Kim’s Championship could be in trouble. Besides that Kim has been Champion for more than five months. That is the longest Championship reign any Knockout has had for quite some time. At Lock Down that reign is probably coming to an end. For that reason I’m giving the victory to Velvet Sky.

Besides the four Championship Matches Lock Down will feature a Lethal Lock Down Match and two Singles Matches.

The Lethal Lock Down Match will feature Team Eric Bischoff vs. Team Garett Bischoff. Garett will most likely get the best of his father. For that reason I’m giving the victory to Team Garett Bischoff.

The first Singles Match will feature Matt Morgan and Crimson. These two were former TNA Tag Team Champions. When they got their Re-Match at Victory Road Crimson turned on Morgan costing them the Match. Now Crimson will put his undefeated streak on the line against Morgan. Morgan has attempted to ended the undefeated streak of Crimson in the past but has never been successful. I always thought Samoa Joe should be the one to end Crimson’s undefeated streak. Since Joe had an undefeated streak of his own when he first came to TNA. For that reason I’m giving the victory to Crimson.

The second Singles Match will feature Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy. Angle got the best of Hardy at Victory Road. This time around Hardy will probably get the best of Angle setting up for a third Match between the two. For that reason I’m giving the victory to Jeff Hardy.
