Let’s say you’re a former child star looking for a way to get some attention and a way off of the D-List. Fortunately, in today’s Hollywood, there are two effective causes that will endear you to Hollywood’s loony liberals: the environment and gay sex.
Hollywood loves a conservative villain, and their latest target is actor Kirk Cameron. The former Growing Pains actor is being roasted by the left because he has openly stated that homosexuality is a sin. In response, FunnyorDie.com posted this video that makes fun of Cameron by using other former child stars. It incorporates a lot of sexual innuendo, most of which is not even clever enough to warrant a laugh at Cameron’s expense. The actors claim to be in a group called Child Celebrities Opposing Kirk Cameron (CCOKC). It is pronounced “cock,” get it? That might be funny, if you are 12 and socially inept.
What is funny is the idea that the creators of the video think we even care about the opinions of some actors that need to have their name displayed and a picture from their acting days so we know who they were. The video might have had some effect if we had actually recognized the folks as peers that were actually as popular as Cameron, but the whole thing comes off as pathetic has-beens hoping to glean some attention.
If they want attention, here it is. Here are the actors that participated, so on the off chance they ever get any other acting jobs, you can avoid them: Maureen Flannigan, Keith Coogan, Kenn Michael, Brice Beckham, Christine Lakin, Jeremy Licht, and Josie Davis. If their names do not ring a bell, don’t worry.
FunnyorDie.com, of course, thinks this video is well worth your time, so much so that it features it on their front page. It also features a video with Ashley Judd making fun of Rick Santorum and abortion. Hilarious. You will find videos making fun of George W. Bush – still – on their home page. What you will not find is any video making fun of Barack Obama.
Of course, liberal media is gushing over the Cameron video. Adriana Velez of CafeMom.com used the video to point out what an evil bigot Cameron is. It is a position most moms who visit the site would probably disagree with. Entertainment Weekly used the video to proclaim Cameron held “stupid opinions.”
The video also exposes the hypocrisy of the left; liberals attack Cameron as hateful by launching hateful attacks. They argue for gay rights by restricting the free speech rights of Cameron. That is a truth that these former child celebrities, and all their receding hairlines, collagen injected lips, and sagging looks, cannot hide.
