The opening of Victory’s Bar & Grill, inside the Cannery Casino, was a festive affair!
The Cannery’s Executive Chef Steve Bacchetta was overseeing the event and stopped to discuss their newest venue.
“One of our niches is X-Box games for the over 21 crowd.
We offer the traditional old-school traditional arcade games. I mean the actual games you don’t usually see around today.
We are set up for gamers and have great food to match.
Victory’s bar-style food has a bit of a twist. Everything is a little bit different.”
Victory matched their décor and menu with a race car theme.
The appetizers are called the “Qualifiers” while the larger meals are “The Main Event”.
Crab, salmon or lobster sandwiches, “Pistons”, are served with a spicy mustard tarter slaw.
The crispy fried wings, or “Wing Nuts”, are topped with a special blend of Thai chili sauce.
There’s “Drag Strip” chicken Fingers served with a choice of mild, medium, and hot BBQ or Ranch dipping sauce.
The “Big Block” pork sandwich is really a country fried pork cutlet on grilled Texas toast.
When you are really hungry, the “Center Line” BBQ ribeye steak sandwich is the one to choose.
A large lobster tank was one of the main attractions. All you have to do is catch your own lobster and they will cook it for you. It does sound easy! These lobsters range from 1 pound to 1-1/2 pounds. Known as the Lobster Zone, guests put money into the machine and attempt to grab the lobster.
Chef Steve explained, “Guests cannot just order a lobster dinner. We only serve the lobsters that are caught.”
They have a great selection from snacks to a whole meal.
For all sports and racing fans, Victory’s Bar and Grill features 80′ flat screen TVs around the entire venue and will broadcast all NASCAR races.
This would be a perfect spot to have a game party or sport’s night.
Victory’s Bar and Grill offers a full bar including Ole Smokey Moonshine. In honor of its grand opening, the bar and grill ran a special contest allowing guests to create and name a signature drink – the winning concoction is the Victory Lap (perfect blend of Jack Daniels, Amaretto and raspberry liqueur mixed with pineapple juice and served over ice in the signature Victory’s Bar and Grill 25oz logo mug).
