LP Field Offers New Upgrades for Titans Fans
The Tennessee Titans call the LP Field (Louisiana Pacific) home in Nashville. The stadium is located near some of city’s major attractions and offers fans with added amenities not offered at most NFL stadiums. Look at the LP Field seating chart for a detailed map of seats offered for Titans games.

Titans fans have shared the stadium with Tennessee State University since moving there in 1999. Each year the stadium also hosts college football’s Music City Bowl. The Titans moved to Tennessee from Houston in 1997.

The stadium is located right on the Cumberland River giving fans a picturesque view of downtown Nashville. Outside the stadium over 2,000 trees were planted in the 105 acre setting. In addition, the stadium has one of the NFL’s only natural grass fields.

Fans wanting to arrive early to tailgate should be aware of several rules. Due to limited parking, individuals are only allowed to tailgate directly behind their vehicles. Only portable grills may be used for tailgating (both charcoal and gas). Anyone using a charcoal grill should extinguish their coals and place them in the coal bins located throughout the parking lots.

The seating in LP Field offers fans a few extra perks compared to other NFL stadiums. The individual seats and rows are wider providing more comfort for fans as they are sitting watching a game. In addition, the cupholders in each seat include space for a pencil and pad of paper for fans to keep track of the team’s statistics throughout the games.

The team is now a leader in technology within the NFL with the 2012 debut of the world’s largest outdoor surface mount LED screens. The screens are 157 feet wide by 54 feet high. The video screens are the NFL’s second largest. The team also installed 800 new speakers throughout the field. The state of the art screens will be used to give fans high resolution displays of the action on the field along with updates from games across the country.

Other additions in 2012 include the creation of fan entertainment areas. At the north end of the stadium, a stage was constructed. The stage will host musical artists to play during Titans home games. For the current season, country artist Phil Vassar will perform. A fan courtyard will also be opened at the stadium providing additional entertainment options.

Individual game tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster on the team’s website. Tickets start at just $35 for upper level row seats to $111 for lower level row seats. Club seats range in price from $132 to $287. Fans are limited to purchasing just four tickets for certain games. Anyone planning to bring small children to a Titans game should be aware that children under the age of 2 are admitted at no charge when held in an adult’s lap.

Located within walking distance of downtown Nashville, fans can enjoy a Titans game while taking in the sites of the music city. The recent upgrades to the stadium provide visitors with added perks to enhance their game viewing experience.
